Peer-to-Peer Campaign
Peer-to-Peer Campaign: Onesie Challenge

Money Raised: $765.00  Campaign Goal: $5,000.00

This year marks the 67th CMHA Mental Health Week taking place from May 7th to May 13th 2018. Together, we’ve focused on breaking the stigma and discrimination that come with mental health issues and disorders. One in five Canadians live with mental health problems, mental illness or addiction. But the reality is, five in five of us have mental health, just like we all have physical health. We can all benefit from celebrating, promoting and acknowledging the role that good mental health plays in living a full and meaningful life. So, this May, let’s #GETLOUD about how important mental health is for ALL Canadians.

On Thursday, May 10th join Teresa May in celebrating our mental health and #GetYourOnesieOn! Spread the joy, the comfort and uniqueness that each onesie represents. Choose to come together as a community and share love and gratitude for each and every person in our city. Meet at Stuart Park for a onesie noon hour walk and raise funds for mental health services in our community. Donate in advance here or bring a minimum $10 donation to Stuart Park on May 10th.

This event allows local businesses, universities, and schools to come together in support of mental health initiatives and it gives us all an opportunity to #GETLOUD for mental health and bring awareness to the amazing efforts from our very own Canadian Mental Health Association in Kelowna.

Donate today, put a reminder in your calendar, share this event with your co-workers and or classmates, and let us all choose to Wear a Onesie Day in support of CMHA Kelowna!
